Went to Midvalley for the education fair and for some Christmas shopping. Didn't do much of Christmas shopping though.

We pierced our noses!!! Chel wanted to pierce her nose one year ago and since she doesn't have to go back to school anymore, she can finally pierce her nose. I followed her and ended up piercing mine too.

It did hurt a lil'. It hurt more when I sneezed!! I still can't believe I actually did it, but i like it!!

Chel was falling asleep..poor girl was so tired. She looks nice with the piercing. :)

LAST MONTH of 2009!!!

Can you believe it?? It's already the last month of the year!! Time sure flies!!

The campaign(Quality Relationships campaign) that I have been talking about in my previous posts has already come to an end. It was alot of hardwork, yet it was worth while!! I made alot of friends, learned alot and also realised I could actually do things I thought I was not capable of. I will surely miss this semester, year 3 semester 2. p.s- pictures are in facebook :)

It's December!!Christmas is coming!!Weeeeeee!!! Exam's are coming in a weeks time. I can't wait for 15Dec, the last day of exam, then it's holiday time till I start my LAST FINAL semester!!

I just turned 21 like many months ago and I'm gonna turn 22 in another few months!! How fast is that?!

My mind is blank now, so people, enjoy the last month of the 2009!!

GLAD

It's been awhile since I blogged.

I'm always here, without anything to pen down, but somehow today, I just feel glad about something, and so..here I am. :)

It has almost been 4 years studying in UTAR and I've been with the same group of friends since I started attending uni. I never really mixed around, only knew familiar faces, never knew their names, only said hi and bye and then, carry on in my own lil world.

Since this semester started(second last semester before I finally graduate), I've gotten the chance to mingle with those familiar faces and have found many new friends that are really nice and fun people to be with. This 'Quality Relationships campaign' that I'm involve in actually, unknowingly, gave me the opportunity to make new friends. The title of the campaign explains it all..haha. It is a blessing in disguise. Not forgetting my close friends whom I will always cherish and love. :)

It is just a week away from the campaign day starting from tomorrow!! We've (PR 5,PR6 & half of PR2) been working hard since last semester from the planning stage to the execution stage now and I'm excited to see how this campaign is going to ROCK UTAR!!

Tomorrow will be the first day of our publicity and I can't wait to see how it goes. :D

I never knew that I'd actually be this excited about this campaign. I'm so proud of Quality relationships campaign team!!

FINALLY

It's finally over, year 3 semester 1,

you were such a difficult semester, you gave me so much of stress and squeezed my brains till it became a raisin!! But it's okay, thank you so much for all that, because of you, I have grown more and learned more.

However, I am really glad I don't have to see you anymore!

I couldn't have gone through the semester without God's help. Having so many assignments, exams, church activities, up and down moments and so many other things..God is always there. He never fails!!

What time is it?? It's HOLIDAY TIME!! YAY!! 3 weeks of holiday!!

Well, I still have to go back to uni during the holidays because of the campaign that we PR students have to come up with. Year 3 semester 1 was the planning stage of the campaign and now, it's the execution phase. I'm in the launch group and we have so much on our plate, but I know we can do it with God's help.

However, I'm still going to enjoy my holiday despite this!

TO BRUNO and MILO.. I LOVE YOU BOTH!!

Bruno..I miss you!!Love you!!

BRUNO was the first dog that came into my family when I was 8 years old. He followed an aunt (who stays near my house) from the railway station when she came down the train, and she took him and brought him to our house. She asked if we wanted to keep him. He looked like a teddy bear, so cute! We could not say no and took him in. My dad did not want to let us have him but we persuaded him to let us keep it for a week, and years have gone by..13 years later he is still with us. Our loyal dog, Bruno. He was such a loving, obedient and smart dog. He died a year ago, 21 August 2008 due to cancer. We had to put him to sleep because he was suffering really badly and could hardly breath. Watching die was the worse thing ever. I will always cherish the 13 years of memories I had with Bruno.

Milo: What's going on??

MILO was the second dog that pop-ed into my family when I was 13 years old. We got Milo by saving his mom. One fine afternoon, my mom told me that she saw a miniature pincher that was running up and down since morning in our Taman, so she decided to try to catch it and put it in front our house so that the owner of the dog can come and take it back. She asked a boy(that usually helps a man in the neighborhood to walk the mans dog) whether he would like to help her catch the dog and they both caught the miniature pincher. She asked him whether the dog belonged to the man that he usually walk dogs for; he said no. So we kept the miniature pincher and she was pregnant. That same night, the boy and the 'man in the neighborhood' came over to our house and claimed that it was his dog. He created a name for the dog on the spot and called her Mei Li. She looked scared. However, we gave her to him. My mom could not sleep that night and prayed. She somehow felt that God wanted her to go to the pet shop near our house and ask the pet shop owner if anyone's dog was missing. Without even explaining to the pet shop owner what breed it was, he told my mom that a man came by and told him that he lost his female brown miniature pincher and she was pregnant. Right away my mom told the pet shop owner what had happen and the pet shop owner called up the owner of the missing dog and told him that we know where the dog is. To cut the story short, the owner of the miniature pincher got her back from the 'man from the neighborhood'. The owner of the miniature dog came by our house and thanked my mom and asked my sis if she wanted a puppy!! She said yes!! And that's how we got MILO!!

Milo went missing yesterday, he squeezed out the front gate and did not know how to come in back, so he went wondering around and we could not find him. We tried searching for him but could not find him. My parents decided to go to the pound to find him. When they were about to leave the house, a neighbor came over and told my parents that he thinks that he saw the body of Milo under a tree just a few houses away from my home. True enough, it was Milo..Lying down under a tree with his intestines out of his stomach. He was dead..:( Poor Milo died.. I can't believe it! He's gone!! I had an exam this morning and only heard about the news after the exam. I can't believe he is gone..just like that.. I miss him already..

Dogs ARE TRULY MANS BEST FRIEND.. loosing them is like loosing one of your family members. Bruno and Milo is a part of my family..and we will never ever forget them..NEVER.

BRUNO and MILO..thank you so much for all the joy and protection you have given to us. We love you both so much and will always miss you both.

Septembers Up and Down

I just got home awhile ago from the album recording in Nick's Studio. It was fun!!

From now on..I see music in a different light..

From now on..I will appreciate music more..

Who knew that recording just one song takes up hours and hours of recording and hard work from all who are involve (sound engineer, singers, musicians, etc). Even planning and preparing for 2 days of live recording involves months and months of preparation!! People, appreciate music OK?

It's going to be a busy busy month with so many things going on, like I've said earlier in my previous post (exams and recording).

DOWN

I'm upset that I am going to miss a couple of important events which I wish I could attend.
Two of which is Nishant's farewell party and Jason's 21st birthday party. Both of this parties will be happening on the days in which I will have no time go. So sorry guys... :(

Well, I believe things happen for a reason.. so..well.. I trust that God has His reasons why. God please tell me why....

MORE THAN TONS..

Finally, creative strategy advertising paper is over!! Thank you Lord for helping me go through it!!

It's going to be a busy weekend (this weekend) and busy week ahead next week. SIBKL church album rehearsals and recording plus exams, all at the same time. It has been 6 weeks or 7 weeks having the album practices every Sunday and the Live Recording in church is finally just a week away!

This Sunday will be the first time I step into a recording studio, I'm excited! I don't know what to expect but I'm sure it will be fun despite the long hours. I'm blessed to be a part of SIBKL's album in conjunction with the church 15Th Anniversary.

Well, I have more things to say..but it's getting late, so till then..

THE LAZY-SLOTH VIRUS!!

Exams are starting this Friday and I'm attacked by the lazy-sloth virus!! This virus is the worse thing that can happen during the exam period. I've been wasting my time!! Sleeping everyday till 1, 2, 3 p.m!! And not doing anything!! I came up with a study schedule, that's all.

I know I must overcome it but I'm allowing the virus to take over!!

What's wrong with me!! No discipline!! YVONNE WAKE UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!

RECENT HAPPENINGS & COUZ CAMP!

I've been away for awhile now..



Got me feeling like I wanna write now..:)



Well, obviously I have not been updating my blog. Every time I open up my blog and want to write about something, I somehow, either do not have anything to write about or no time to write at all.



So here I am now after almost a month away from my blog. It has been a few busy weeks for me; busy doing assignments and all that. By God's grace, I manage to make it this far.
Despite the busy-ness, Thank God again, I was able to make it for COUZ CAMP!!

COUZ CAMP in short was AWESOME!! I had so much of fun with all the campers and also learned a lot during those 3 days and 2 nights at El-Sanctuary, Malacca. I have so much to share about camp and it would take me hours just to tell you all that happened. So, I will upload some photos later on to illustrate what happened at camp.

Memorax is the name of the team I was apart of and we got first place!! And to my surprise, Memorax voted me the 'Best Group Member'. I was shocked when my name was called and I was also very touched!! MEMORAX, you people are so sweeeeettttt!!! I wish camp was longer. I am already missing camp.

I will update more in my later post but for now, I got to go to bed. It's going to be a busy week and I know I will make it through because I have a Father that will take care of me.

And sometimes, stress causes a person to act strangely. Introducing Meryll, I caught her doing this in class during a short 10 minutes break. Meryll Meryll..hahaa..so cute..

It's now the fourth week of the semester, time flies. So many things to do and yet I procrastinate, not good at all. Sometimes I feel like I'm the blurr-est person in class. The one who has no idea how to start or even the one who doesn't understand. And the fact that there's so many things to be done makes me stressful. The only person that can help me go through this is God. Without him I am nothing.

Let's not talk about stress here because it just causes more stress!hahah!

Once upon a Saturday..

Afternoon..

Mathevi 'velima' (means aunt in Tamil) and her family came down from Johor to visit us. Her two little cute chatter box hiper children, Chana and Kiru are so grown up now. They were so excited to see Milo and Cino (my dogs). Running from the back of house to the front and jumping on the trampoline and skipping rope just to run away from Cino while eating their ice cream and chocolate was an amusing sight. It was fun having their company that afternoon.

Dad, Mom, Chel and I went to The Curve.

On our way there, Chel and I started taking pictures as usual. :)

Only one picture turned out quite okay.haha.

Anyways, after reaching The Curve, we walked around finding for some place to have dinner and we ended up at Ikea.

I just realised the 'r' in the start is missing BUT that is not the point.

Somehow, some people just do not understand simple instructions. They walk off without clearing their plates. Why so ignorant? I felt so embarrassed that some people, who looked like Malaysians (but who am I to assume that they are) can't even clear their table. *Sigh*. Not only the table next to mine did not do that but there were many other table's that followed the "good" example.

Why am I so disturbed by that? I do not know. Maybe because I just can't accept the fact that people are so ignorant at times, at simple things.

It's getting late, I shall head off to my nest and sleep.

1ST WEEK

Wow, first week of uni is over!(no tutorial classes for the first week). 13 weeks to go! Met my friends again! Everyone looks good. Makay-ers are all doing fine! Meryll (the 'M' of Makay) just turned 21 (03/06/2009)!! Happy birthday Meryll!! And to my surprise, the makay-ers gave me a belated birthday present! So sweet!!!! Thanks Makay-ers!! Now there's only one more person to turn 21, Anne!!

Meryll wanted to celebrate her birthday by karaoke-in, so we all went to red box at the Gardens. It was my first time karaoke-in. It was really fun! However, Amrit couldn't make it because she was accompanying her dad for a checkup at the hospital - she's such a responsible daughter. Amrit we will all go again next time k?

Everyone was having a great time singing and screaming in the mike (especially Anne)! Kyle was singing like an angel. Meryll singing with her sweet voice. Mun Kit can sing people! and Anne was rock-in the karaoke room! As for me, I was singing as well (nice or not? let's just keep it between the people in the karaoke room :p). And if Amrit was with us, I'm sure she'll be rock-in the room too!heheh!!

This was our room. Can you imagine a little bowl of snack cost us RM9!! I'm still a little confused about the snacks because we did not even ask for it. They gave us 3 bowls!! And it's a really small bowl. I should have taken a picture of it. It was pricey. I'm really broke now. Banckrupt broke :(. However, it was fun :).

Year 3 here I come...

It's going to be 1 June tomorrow. This means back to uni. I'm so glad it's starting tomorrow.
I won't have any excuses to sleep till noon anymore!! This is good news! I practically spent almost 2 months of my holidays by sleeping! Not good and not proud of it.

HELLO from afar....

*RING RING*

My phone was ringing, and it was not a familiar number. I picked up the phone and I heard a familiar voice. It's Jonathan!! Calling from Germany. Was so nice of him to call. He did call once about more than a week ago after a few days arriving in Germany.

Anyways, we (Jon and I) decided to video call around 12 midnight which was around 6 in the evening over there so that I can see him and Iris!

So the time came and we video called. It was nice to see him and her. It was fun. Laughing and more laughing. They look so sweet together, so I decided to print screen and paste it on word document. I print screened one where all of us were smiling, and another where both of them were comparing their palm size (surprisingly, Iris palm was bigger) and another random one and the last one was when we said goodbye.

After saying goodbye, I opened the word document and only the goodbye one was there!!! Where did all the others go? It's all gone!! I don't know where it went. AAARRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!! So sad. I was so excited because I was going to post it up here and now I'm so upset that it's gone.

My photoshop is gone, so I had to paste it in word. Actually, I could have paste it in paint and saved it. Well, I'll just have to learn from my mistakes. Anyhow, here's the goodbye part. Can't see Iris face, aiyaaaaaaa. Another time I'll make sure I don't loose it. Miss them already!

The other pictures I took was way nicer than this. Both of them were closer to the web cam.

CLUTCH

Yes people, clutch! It's an important part in the car that I always tend to neglect hence mati enjin. I need more practice!! I keep forgetting to press the clutch when I break! Haiyo!
Thank God for my very patient driving instructor. Driving Instructors are patient people, seriously. I solute them.

Another two more weeks of holiday and it's time to get back to uni. I can't wait to meet my friends again, but I do not want this holiday to end. This is going to be my last year of uni. LAST YEAR and it's time to face the real world. No more long breaks in between, no more going to the mamak a few times a day and no more waking up late when you want to. That's the best part of studying, being able to do all that. Thank God I am still studying, hehe. Now I know why my parents and uncle aunties tell me to enjoy my time studying.

I was washing my clothes in the bathroom and as I poured the soap water into the toilet bowl, I heard a "KLING" sound. I looked at my left hand and I saw the ring on my thumb missing!!
NOOOOOOO!!! The ring fell into the toilet bowl!! No no no! That ring is significant to me. It's the sister ring. Both Chel and I have the same ring on our thumbs as a symbol of our bond as sisters (for fun..hehe). I lost it last time and I had to buy another one. Now it fell into the toilet bowl.

Anyways, I took it out! The toilet bowl is clean okay! Thank God I manage to take it out.
Chel, you better be happy you have me as your sister. Hehehehehe.

AAAWWWWWWWW.....

I do not know how to start this post. All I can say is, it was a pleasant surprise. :)

Fazil, my supervisor during my internship at KTMB, called me last week to let me know that I'm invited for lunch on Thursday (today) with Corporate Communications (the department I was assigned to at KTMB).

I was told to meet them at KL Sentral. Upon arriving, I messaged Fazil asking him where in KL Sentral should I meet them. He replied saying Secret Recipe. So to Secret Recipe I went.

Unfortunately, I did not know where Secret Recipe was. I was standing in the middle of KL Sentral lost, looking to my left and right wondering which route should I take. Suddenly, someone came up to me from behind. I turned around and it was Azman, Mr.Guna and Kak Midah. I was GLAD!! So they led the way to Secret Recipe.

They had already reserved a table there. We sat down and waited for Pn.Shah (my boss), Fazil (supervisor), Siti and Azim to arrive. To cut the short story shorter, they arrived, makan-ed, then they surprised me with a whole Chocolate Indulgence cake and a card and a huge bouquet of roses (roses and some other small cute flowers which names i do not know) and some gifts.

They are so sweet! Gosh, I did not expect anything and look what happened. This was the first time in my 21 years of life receiving a bouquet of roses!!

I managed to get home safely with one hand holding the bouquet of roses, another hand holding my umbrella, the gifts and the left over cake, heavy! Took the train home.

NEVER!!

Never sleep too much!! I've been sleeping toooooo much!!! The weather is torturing me!!
I can't sleep at night. Tossing and turning all night long. When i finally fall asleep, it's almost time to get up. Hence, I end up sleeping too much because I do not want to get up as I did not get to sleep!

Never sleep too much because when you get up, you feel so lethargic and crappy plus you waste half a day. I have been getting up at 1 something or 2 in the afternoon for the past 2 weeks or more. This has to stop!

Never say never, so, I'm going to say..

I am not going to sleep too much from now on!

HAAACCHHOOOO!!! That's it, no more! I cant take it anymore. I'm going to wipe u out of my room once and for all! I hate you dust!!

Yes, finally, I cleaned my room after many months of leaving it to collect all the dust in the world. How could I live in a room infested with creepy-hairy-greyish creatures flying around?
Now I can finally breathe fresh dust-free air! Hallelujah! haha :)

It was a productive day today. I cleaned my room, organized my messed up closet, washed my dirty yet not dirty looking handbags. One of my favourite handbag, the jeans one, that has been used by me since I was in highschool, was the dirtiest of them all. After soaking it for around 10 minutes, the water in the pail was greenish black! Goodness, I have been walking around with my favourite bag not knowing it was that dirty. Thank God I washed it.

By the time I finished all this cleaning, it was already 8.00 p.m. I started at around 3.30 p.m. Took my bathe, ate my dinner and went for a drink with Jon and chel at Racha Tomyam or also known as Dekni Corner which is like 1 minute away from my house.

Jon, chel and I were talking about all sorts of things and one of the topics was about cartoons. Cartoons these days just do not match up to cartoons we used to watch when we were young. I remember, we used to have Gummy Bears, Care Bears, Smurfs, Kapten Planet, Mickey Mouse (classic) and much more which are not shown anymore these days. These cartoons have moral values in them compared to cartoons shown to children this generation. Sponge Bob Square Pants, Grim Adventures, Cat and Dog, Cow and Chicken are very different sort of cartoons. I have to say, it does make u laugh at times, but it gets irritating because it just does'nt make any sense and have very little good values that can be passed on to children. You wonder how children this generation have more funky vocabulary and ideas? Watch cartoon and you'll know why.

Anyways, today was a productive day for me. I can sleep well tonight without any creepy-hairy-greyish creature flying into my nose or eye tonight. Yay!!

Finally the day i was anticipating for arrived, the undang-undang day!hahaha!
I was so nervous. The test was at 1 p.m.

I got up at 9.30 a.m, washed up, went downstairs, made a toast and cup of coffee, read the daily bread then I went through the undang-undang questions and answers. At 11.30 a.m I went up to take my shower and left the house at 12.05 p.m.

When i reached the driving school, the lady in charge took me to the place where they had the computer test done. She left me there. That place was quite empty, only me and an Indian guy plus another 2 to 3 people in the test room and ofcourse the guy at the registration counter.

I sat down for not more than 5 minutes and the dude at the registration counter called me. He asked for my I.C and took my thumb print via the 'digital thumb print recognition device' and told me to go into the room to take the test. I was so nervous that I did not have any time to relax (I thought I could cool down before I take the test at 1 p.m).

It was only 12.25 p.m. I sat at the computer and entered my I.C number. Got full marks for the colour blind and Alphabet and number test. Now it was time for me to answer the theory; the undang-undang test. It was 12.30 p.m and i was given 45 minutes to answer 50 questions.

I answered the 50 questions in 15 mins and 26 seconds. My hands were practically shaking. Maybe because I was too nervous and excited at the same time. When I clicked the end button, the results pop-ed out on the screen!

I passed!! Wohoooooo!! I was happy but dissapointed at the same time because my results were not as I expected it to be. The passing marks is 42. I got 45. I was hoping to get a 48 atleast. Anyways, I am very happy that I passed. :)

HMmmMmmmm.....

I have no idea how I can actually sleep for more than 12 hours a day!! If there was a sleeping competition, I think I can win! I have to stop sleeping too much, it is BAD. I have to admit that I'm such a lazy person..I need to wake up!

Anyways, I'm suppose to be going through the undang-undang book but I'm here now (thanks to Nishant who reminded me about my blog and now i feel like blogging).

I need to discipline myself. D.I.S.C.I.P.L.I.N.E.

Okay, enough of me. Have you ever thought..

"Why is it so important or a must for people to have a boyfriend or girlfriend when they are still so young?"

I was watching The Biggest Looser on TV yesterday, and this 15 year old girl wanted to loose weight so that she can have a boyfriend. I was shocked!! Why is it so important? and if people only come to you after u have lost weight or become thin, shame on them. This means they only come to you for the wrong reasons, not because they like you for who you are.

And I will not deny that I used to be like that (boyfriend girlfriend stage). Now I just do not see the point in it. I see it differently now. I have learnt much from church, parents and a book called ' I Kissed Dating Goodbye' by Joshua Harris about relationships. It is not a light matter to be in a relationship with another person. I believe in our lifetime, we should wait for the right person and not jump into relationships just because we feel loved and appreciated. Why rush? Keeping our heart for that one special person is the right thing to do.

Using the time when we are single to improve on our weaknesses so that in future, when we are in a relationship, it will be for the better of our partner and the relationship. I believe strongly in that. And I also believe that God has the best in store for each and everyone of us.

I will wait for the BEST God has for me. What about you?

People, I have been missing in action because i just finished my industrial training last Friday. I slept too much on Saturday, then went for church service. On Sunday, went for undang-undang class (finally!!) from 10.30 a.m to 3.30 p.m then came home.

I have to start doing my final report (hopefully I really start doing it tomorrow!) and pass it up this Friday. Once im done with that, I have to prepare for the computer test (undang-undang test). I want to get my driving license as fast as i can before Uni starts again in June.

So till I sit for my undang-undang test, I don't think you will be hearing from me.

So tata for now..

Slumdog Millionaire

Slumdog Millionaire is such an awesome movie.

I love one part the best, the part where Jamal jumps into the pool of poop just to see Amitabh Bachchan!!! Goodness! I actually thought that he was going to throw the picture of Amitabh Bachan into the pool of poop but NO! That did not happen. He jumped into the pool of poop with one of his arms raised (the hand that was holding Amitabh's picture). That poor jamal, covered in poop. I could'nt help but burst out laughing!

Anyways, the movie is a really good movie to watch, so people go watch!
